This year, the SGC's annual conference will be held in Philadelphia in conjunction with Philagrafika 2010. The conference will examine traditional and digital print processes (marks), critical discourse important to the field (remarks), and consider the concepts associated with the historical print term remarque: rarity, testing, concept amplification, and boundary extension. Tuesday, March 30th at 6pm. Kiki Smith discusses the major themes in her work and an ongoing interest in printmaking techniques and processes. Seating is limited so pre-registration is required.
