Chagoya will talk about his work at the Rosenbach Museum on Thursday, February 17th at 6pm. Additionally, this week there will be a lecture on Saturday, February 19th at 4pm "Printmakers as Political Provocateurs" presented by Robert Brand.

Customized exclusively for Philagrafika 2010, the app will provide detailed information, addresses, web sites, and location specific maps. The App will allow users to preview events on-the-go and plan their activities based on their current location.
It is available for download through the iTunes store and Android Market (search for ici) for $2.99. 20% of all app sales revenues will be donated directly back to Philagrafika. Learn more about the App and ici HERE.

Philagrafika 2010 Guidebooks are now available for purchase in our online shop for $15 plus tax. All Guidebook sales include a copy of the Philagrafika 2010 map, which is designed to work in tandem with the Guidebook to provide visitors with information and an overview of the entire festival.

Pendent (silhouette), (2009) is the second in the Signature Editions series, in which Philagrafika commissioned artists in the festival to develop a new work that expands the boundaries of printmaking. Silveira’s major new installation, part of The Graphic Unconscious exhibition, is on view at Moore College of Art & Design.

The 2010 SGC Conference, Mark/ Remarque will examine traditional and digital print processes (marks), critical discourse important to the field (remarks), and consider the concepts associated with the historical print term remarque: rarity, testing, concept, amplification, and boundary extension.
