Sande Webster Gallery

An exhibition of recent work by Merle Spandorfer comprised of digital archival ink jet prints that utilize painting, drawing, handmade paper, collage and laser printing. The essence of her work expresses the passage of time. She quotes P.B. Shelly, "Time is our consciousness of the succession of ideas in our mind." The flower, a metaphor for her concept, is shown as buds, in full bloom and even withered and dried. This transition, to the artist, has energy in time and space.
