The University of the Arts

The University of the Arts is the nation's first and only university dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts. Located in the heart of Philadelphia's Avenue of the Arts, they have been educating creative individuals since 1868.

Window on Broad, located at 333 South Broad Street, will have three different artist installations throughout the festival.

In the Arronson and Hamilton Galleries at 320 South Broad Street there is a Printmaking & Book Arts Exhibition/Social Remarque from March 18th through April 5th. From March 15th through March 29th in Gallery 224 located at 333 South Broad Street, 2nd floor, there is a Book Arts/Printmaking MFA I Works in Progress Exhibition. There will be a Wall of Statements installation in the university lot at 313 South Broad Street from March 24 through March 31.

In the Open Lens Gallery at the Gershman Y Galleries at 401 South Broad Street, (corner of Pine) an exhibition by John Woodin City of Memory, New Orleans Before and after Katrina, running January 22 - April 11, 2010.

The University of the Arts is one of the institutions hosting the Southern Graphics Conference from March 24th through March 27th please refer to the SGC publication for events that are open to the public.
