Beyond Color, a Rediscovery of the Spectrum

The American Color Print Society was founded in 1939 to introduce Color into the mainstream of Print Art. In the 70 years since, the techniques of “Color” employment and materials have been continually advanced. This period has seen the integration/utilization of the Biological, Psychological and Physical Sciences. The developments and achievements are our source-base. “Beyond Color” recognizes the past and utilizes its achievements in printmaking exploration. The intertwined history of “Color’ and Humankind continues with and Beyond Color.
